About

Patchshelf is a place to store, recall and share synth patches as a picture of the real front panel.

Why it exists

Many great synths have no preset memory, and a sound is lost the moment you turn a knob. Patch sheets drawn by hand work, but they are slow to fill in and hard to share. Patchshelf keeps every knob and switch setting for you and draws the panel from it.

How it works

Pick a synth, set the controls on a drawn copy of its panel, and save the patch. Every patch gets its own link. Make it public to share it and show it on the home page, unlisted so only people with the link can see it, or private so only you can.

You can browse public patches without an account. An account, with email or Google, is needed to save, like and share your own.

Synths

Each synth gets its own drawn panel, and more are added over time. You can see which are ready and which are planned when you start a new patch.

Who is behind it

Patchshelf is a small independent project, built and run by one person. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any synth maker; their names and designs belong to them.
